Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Seven Generations Labs LLC (“7gens”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the Baby Sleep & Milestones app and related services (together, “the app”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, supplemented by these terms; if they conflict, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
Not medical advice
The app provides general information for parents and caregivers. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your pediatrician or other health professional.
Wake windows, sleep summaries, activity ideas and milestones describe what many babies do. Every child develops at their own pace. If you have any concern about your baby’s health, feeding, breathing, sleep or development, contact your pediatrician. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
- Always follow safe sleep guidance from your pediatrician and public health authorities: on the back, on a firm, flat surface, with no loose bedding.
- Activities are meant for an awake baby with an adult right there. Stop when your baby shows signs of tiredness or discomfort.
- Milestone content is adapted from public guidance (such as the CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.”); it is not a screening or diagnostic tool.
Using the app
You must be an adult (or the age of majority where you live) to use the app. You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your iPhone secure. Please don’t misuse the app or our servers — for example by attempting to access other families’ data, reverse engineering our API, overloading it, or using it to send unlawful content.
Family Sharing
With Family Sharing you can invite people to see and add to your baby’s shared log. Only invite people you trust: everything shared is visible to every member. Invite links and codes expire after 72 hours and can be used once. The family owner can remove members at any time, and any member can leave. Photos and videos are never shared through our servers. Baby Plus subscription
Baby Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks extra features, such as no sponsored cards, deeper sleep insights, personal recommendations, Family Sharing and exporting your history. Features may evolve over time.
- Price: $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year (US prices; prices in other countries are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy and may include taxes).
- Payment: charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: open the iPhone Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Baby Sleep & Milestones. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Baby Plus until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Free trials and offers: if a free trial or introductory offer is available, its length and price are shown before you buy. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes: if the price changes, Apple will notify you in advance as required, and where your consent is needed you will be asked before the new price applies.
Sponsored cards
The free version may show clearly labelled sponsored cards. Products and services offered by sponsors are provided by them, not by us, and their own terms apply. We don’t endorse or guarantee sponsored products.
Our content and your content
The app, its design and its content are owned by 7gens or our licensors and are protected by law. You keep all rights to what you enter. You give us only the permission needed to store and transmit shared records to your family members when you use Family Sharing.
Availability and changes
The core of the app works offline. Online features (content updates, sponsored cards and Family Sharing) depend on our servers and may occasionally be unavailable. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Family Sharing, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Baby Plus in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it (and cancelling Baby Plus in your Apple ID settings). We may suspend access to online features if these terms are seriously breached.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept them.
